Illustration Inspiration : The Book of the Sea

I love the cover and illustrations from this book. Many of them are old prints of things that are in the sea or that we humans have put into the sea.

Morning y’all. This morning I started posting my daily sketches at @morningsketching if you are interested in following. Have a great day.

One Poster A Month: CHANGA
Recently a friend of mine commissioned this poster for his school. It was fun and a lot of work. Both challenging and fulfilling. There was a lot of collaborating between the client and me and overall I’m pleased with how it turned out.

A Little Bit of Experimenting : Learning new things is great.
Over the weekend I attended an embroidery class where I learned about a stitch called the split stitch from Ms. Carly Eyler at Cairo in Seattle. The designs are from local artist Garek Druss.
Thanks to everyone Maderline Pope and everyone else at the class.
