Oops this is a day late on the TBT train BUT, for awhile I posted these GOALS of the WEEK cards. Which, by the way, were incredibly helpful and productive in my day-to-day life. :) These were BTS (Before the Scanner).
SO, I took a week off and went to the SUN. (as you may see by all my MANY photos). But I’m back with some new goals.
1. Learn to say no. So, these two goals sorta go hand in hand. I tend to be one of those people who say yes to most things and then have tooo many things to do and am not able to follow through on any of them in the time I allotted myself. So, I am saying no this week, when needed. For instance, I love volunteering but I also have projects to complete and a job search that I need to focus on. So, what happened? I was supposed to volunteer today, but I was too tired from all the hours that I have been putting in on other things, so I slept in and skipped it. Not a good thing. Kids are relying on me. I need to cut my volunteering down, until I get other priorities sorted and completed.
2. Follow through. When I say yes, follow through. For instance, if I plan on volunteering or finishing a project I need to make the necessary adjustments and prioritize when and where to follow through.
These are both pretty intense goals for the week. But working on them will be sure to help out in my productivity and reliance. Boy do I sound like a nerd. ;)
