Doing poster gigs is always fun! Most recently I completed this poster and flyer for an event Artist For Artist is putting on in July with proceeds going towards local youth arts in Seattle. It seems like an awesome event. They will release lanterns into the sky on Alki Beach. If you are interested supporting one of these lovely lanterns and local youth art programs go to brownpapertickets.com

It’s 9:26 on Monday evening. I’m in my robe, and vainly hoping that my hair dried up into its waves in an attractive way. I suppose I should get dressed and eat the cucumber and salmon in my fridge. This evening is peaceful and my mood content. Being home when everything is in order is lovely. I’ve been simplifying things in my life. It feels great. I still have more to go, but I am not pressuring myself too much. It is happening. My biggest tackle will be the paperwork, receipts and mail that have piled up (in their neat little corner).
Awaiting a check from my new job is challenging. I’m trying maintain my stress in that area. You can only worry about things so much that you have no control over. But seriously, some bills and small debts need to be paid.
That’s all I have to complain about. It’s pretty great. I love that life goes in cycles. Well, I love it after I’ve been out of the not so great ones. I believe that I am in a creative phrase. I keep wanting to emerse myself in nature and create from that. Nature and creating and sex - seems like a good way to spend this phase. Oh, and let’s not forget simplifying. Maybe that’s what spring is.
That and fancy cucumber water.
